Job DescriptionOur client is an award winning global integrator supporting a major branch of our armed forces. We are looking for a Defense Facilities Basing Consultant to provide engineering, architecture, infrastructure planning, and cost analysis expertise. In this role you will support the planning, documentation, and execution of mission‑critical facility and basing initiatives, and prepare technical analyses and executive‑level communications for senior leadership decision‑making. This opportunity is on‑site in the DC Area.U.S. citizens with an active secret clearance are required.ResponsibilitiesLead engineering, architecture, and infrastructure planning efforts to support the beddown of military units, weapon systems, and mission‑critical assets.Analyze mission requirements and translate them into facility and infrastructure requirements, including scope, technical specifications, and cost estimates.Develop documentation to support military construction and facility sustainment, restoration, and modernization projects.Prepare Class 4 and Class 5 cost estimates for infrastructure planning and capital improvement initiatives.Conduct engineering, architectural, and site planning analyses to support strategic basing and infrastructure decisions.Collaborate with engineers, architects, planners, and stakeholders to develop integrated infrastructure solutions.Prepare executive‑level briefing materials, presentations, white papers, summary documents, and responses for senior leadership and external stakeholders.Integrate technical analyses and recommendations into decision‑support materials that inform strategic planning and investment decisions.Evaluate facility and infrastructure requirements to ensure alignment with mission objectives, operational readiness, and long‑term organizational goals.Provide subject matter expertise on infrastructure planning, facility development, and strategic basing initiatives.QualificationsRequired SkillsBachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, or planning discipline.Minimum of 10 years' experience with a broad knowledge of DOD corporate processes and strategic partnerships.Facilities project execution and oversight experience in DoW.Specific experience with developing Class 4 and 5 estimates.Secret clearance for day1 start.Preferred SkillsHeadquarters experience with staffing approval packages for facility requirements.Civil Engineer experience in the U.S. Air Force or U.S. Space Force highly desired.CompensationW2 hourly rate: $60 – $70.
