Job Title

Essential Functions:

Responsibilities –

  • Ensure immediate action is taken on any situation, which may be life threatening, illegal or otherwise extraordinary.
  • Ensure that all equipment purchases installations and equipment utilization will provide overall asset protection throughout the property.
  • Provide effective and professional interface with all Mississippi Gaming officials, public service officials, all management level team members on property and any representatives from other gaming establishments.
  • Proactively keep up to date with any known cheats and keep them off property.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the Mississippi Gaming regulations and ensure that these regulations are adhered to.
  • Provide immediate notification to department leads and/or supervisors upon detection of any illegal activity.
  • Keep a daily preventive maintenance schedule. Ensure all areas are properly covered, all cameras are focused, VCR's are cleaned, domes are cleaned, audio equipment is properly working, quads and tapes are labeled correctly and all times and sates are correct.
  • Oversees and/or perform the installation of equipment as it pertains to surveillance.
  • Evaluate equipment needs and order necessary equipment.
  • Understand the surveillance operation well enough to be able to work as an agent when needed.
  • Ensure all equipment is in compliance with Mississippi Gaming regulations and any equipment failures are duly noted and fixed in a timely manner.
  • Perform quarterly tests on ups system. Perform monthly tests on alarm systems.
  • Perform other duties as requested or assigned.

Requirements:

  • Must be able to obtain a Mississippi Gaming work permit.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Prior experience in the audiovisual electronics field.
  • Prior experience in surveillance related profession.
  • Must be able to work well in pressure situations and be self-motivated.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate, verbally and in writing with department team members, management level team members, throughout the property and outside contacts of the department.
  • Must possess sound and mature judgement.
  • Must be computer literate.
