OverviewGalapagos Federal Systems LLC is seeking a highly skilled Senior Counterintelligence Analyst specializing in personnel vetting, screening, counterintelligence, and open‑source intelligence (OSINT). The analyst will conduct comprehensive intelligence analysis and risk assessments of individuals, organizations, and entities to evaluate suitability, reliability, and potential security risks. The role supports critical decision‑making and national security objectives by providing actionable intelligence to aid mission success.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive vetting and screening of individuals, organizations, and entities to assess backgrounds, affiliations, and potential security risks.Collect, analyze, and interpret information from OSINT, commercial databases, and other intelligence resources.Produce high‑quality intelligence products, including reports, assessments, and briefings, for a variety of stakeholders.Apply structured analytical techniques to identify patterns, assess threats, and provide actionable intelligence and recommendations.Conduct investigative research to identify relevant information, emerging risks, and foreign intelligence collection activities.Apply background knowledge to counterintelligence-principles in investigative work.Utilize IC community databases, repositories, and inter‑agency partners to perform investigations.Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to support intelligence sharing and mission objectives.Monitor emerging threats, technologies, data sources, and analytical methodologies to improve vetting and screening processes.Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines with minimal supervision.RequirementsActive TS/SCI clearance.3 years of relevant intelligence analysis experience required; 6+ years preferred.Experience supporting personnel vetting, screening, intelligence production, or investigative research in a DoD, Intelligence Community, federal, or national security environment.Prior targeting experience.Proficiency in OSINT research, internet investigations, commercial databases, and intelligence analysis tools.Demonstrated experience in personnel vetting, screening, investigative research, and intelligence production.Knowledge of security clearance processes, foreign intelligence threats, and risk assessment methodologies.Ability to interpret and integrate subject‑matter expert findings into comprehensive intelligence assessments.Proven ability to identify new intelligence sources and develop innovative intelligence collection and research strategies.Background supporting the U.S. intelligence community.Prior experience in or around Special Access Programs.EducationBachelor's degree in Intelligence Studies, Security Studies, International Relations, or a related field (required).Professional certifications (e.g., Certified Intelligence Analyst, Certified Security Professional) preferred.BenefitsMedical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance.Flexible Spending Accounts.401(k).Paid time off (PTO).Paid parental leave.Tuition reimbursement.Paid federal holidays.Security ClearanceMust be a U.S. citizen.
