UAS Military Analyst
The UAS Military Analyst provides subject matter expertise in Army Group 4 Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS), supporting capability development, requirements analysis, operational assessments, and future force modernization efforts. The analyst supports the development of concepts, requirements documents, operational analyses, and recommendations related to Army UAS programs and operations. This position requires the ability to independently conduct research, analyze complex aviation and UAS issues, and produce graduate-level written products for Army and Department of Defense stakeholders.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 12 years of Army Aviation tactical experience.
- Former rated Senior Army Aviator and/or Senior Army UAS Operator or Maintainer.
- Minimum 5 years of combined experience in one or both of the following areas:
- Army UAS capability development within a Requirements Management organization supporting Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) activities, such as Analysis of Alternatives (AoA), Capability Development Documents (CDD), or related requirements efforts.
- Operational experience in Army tactical aviation formations conducting UAS operations, including management of flight operations, maintenance scheduling, flight scheduling, and mission execution.
- Ability to work independently under broad guidance and develop high-quality white papers, concept papers, requirements documents, operational views, and related analytical products.
- Demonstrated ability to produce graduate-level written products requiring minimal revisions prior to Government delivery.
- Active SECRET security clearance required.
