We are hiring immediately for a Correctional Officer who has a passion for providing the highest quality care in a secure institutional setting.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain order and security of inmates in a correctional facility.Supervise inmates in housing units, at meals, during recreation, on work assignments, and during all other phases of activity.Employ weapons or force as necessary to maintain discipline and order.Work any shift and may be assigned to posts including armory/key control, housing units, kitchen, medical, visitation, etc.Follow all policies and procedures related to security and inmate care.QualificationsHigh school diploma, GED certification, or equivalent.Valid driver's license.Ability to complete required training.Available to work any hour or shift.At least 18 years of age.Criminal justice experience preferred.
