MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM) Practitioner to join our team in Springfield, VA.
The Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM) Practitioner will leverage their strong technical background and knowledge to support the Sponsor's security efforts, to include conducting specialized technical risk assessments, leading TSCM operations, and ensuring compliance with national and agency-level policies.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Leading and executing Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM), Foreign Visit, Gift Inspection, Digital Counterexploitation, and Technical Evaluation activities
- Ensuring all operations, reporting, and training comply with national and agency-level policies, TSCM program requirements, and TSSC modernization goals
- Providing comprehensive technical advice and guidance by preparing specialized technical risk assessments, TSCM reports of inquiry, and tailored briefings
- Analyzing complex physical and technical security issues to ensure compliance with ICD 705 SCIF physical security standards and DoD standards for collateral areas
- Identifying physical and acoustical security deficiencies and developing cost-effective corrective actions to mitigate risks
- Conducting Radio Frequency (RF) signal of interest searches and evaluating electronic processing equipment for security vulnerabilities
- Preparing all required correspondence, briefing materials, and threat reports in accordance with customer guidelines and after-action requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED with 10+ years of experience in writing and editing technical documents
- Possession of an active Interagency Training Center (ITC) TSCM Certification
- Commitment to completing at least 40 hours of discipline-specific development or refresher training every fiscal year
- Ability to attain and maintain baseline certification for DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II compliance within one calendar year of assignment
- Experience conducting technical evaluations and identifying security deficiencies in complex environments
- Experience in generating comprehensive technical risk assessment products and specialized reports
Preferred Qualifications :
- Bachelor's or Post-graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- Credentialed graduate of an accredited federal or DoD CI training academy
- Professional experience with Telephone Security Group (TSG) requirements and telephone security operations
Clearance Requirements:
- An active/current TS/SCI with the ability to obtain and maintain a Polygraph.
Physical Requirements:
- You must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
- You will need to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets and office machinery.
- You will frequently communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. You must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
The projected compensation range for this position is $141,500.00-$236,000.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
