The Washington, D.C. office of Eckert Seamans, a national, full-service AmLaw 200 firm, is seeking an Associate with two (2) to four (4) years of experience to join its Chambers-ranked Aviation practice.The successful candidate will assist the Aviation practice in advising U.S. and foreign airlines, as well as other aviation/transportation clients, on a broad range of regulatory, commercial, and operational matters involving the U.S. aviation industry. Our attorneys counsel major U.S. and international air carriers on issues before the U.S. Department of Transportation, Federal Aviation Administration, Department of Homeland Security, and other federal agencies, while also providing strategic advice on commercial transactions, compliance, and day‑to‑day operational matters.Prior aviation experience is not required, although a demonstrated interest in the industry is helpful. We are seeking candidates with strong analytical, research, writing, and client‑service skills who are interested in learning and developing their skillset in a sophisticated aviation practice.
