Job DescriptionJoin Our Team as a Project Engineer where you will work on the development of a sophisticated state‑of‑the‑art avionics product in a world class Integrated Product Development environment.Location: This position does not support teleworking; the selected candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in Littleton or Englewood CO and be expected to work in the office full‑time.Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience/combined education.Experience leading projects, teams, and development efforts.Experience as a CAM and earned value management (EVM).Experience with one or more of the following products life‑cycle stages (development or deployment).Demonstrated ability to work with technical leads to manage cost, schedule, and technical scope.Experience in project management principals (cost/schedule/technical).U.S. citizenship required; ability to obtain and maintain a DoD SECRET clearance and successful completion of a drug and background check.Key ActivitiesLead, budget, and manage the cost/schedule/technical performance.Effectively manage project performance (schedule, cost and technical).Coordinate and establish work lanes for incoming/outgoing program needs.Support staffing and resource updates.Coordinate with the LE2 PLM and the Product Team to balance resource requirements through IPT management.To Be Effective In This RoleLead experience as a Control Account Manager (CAM).8+ years of professional experience.U.S. citizenship required; DoD Secret clearance required to start and maintain after hire.Desired SkillsHarness/wiring development experience for electro‑mechanical applications.Integrated program planning experience.Subcontract management experience.Demonstrated behaviors of a systems thinker; selects and applies appropriate systems thinking skills to solve sophisticated problems and implement constructive change.Missile or space segment design and test experience with one or more subsystems or fields outside of Systems Engineering.Other Important InformationBy applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match.
