James Scott LLC is seeking an Expert Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) Analyst to support one of its high priority clients within the Meade and Annapolis Junction area. • The SIGINT SME will have the following responsibilities and perform the following duties.
• Execute, oversee and provide SIGINT Development (SIGDEV) analytic support to optimize and develop assigned customer accesses.
• Provide analysis of module/model output from signals of interest to allow creation of follow-on processing
• Design and implement software modules in MATLAB or other similar design suite to process signals of interest
• Develop systematic approaches for utilizing COTS and GOTS systems for creating processing solutions outside the intended use Required education and skills/experience. • 8-10 years' experience with SIGINT Development analysis support. • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science. o In lieu of a degree an additional four (4) years of experience will substitute.
• Solid experience coding in C/C++ and Python
• Active TS/SCI and FS Poly (FSP)
• Experience with SDRs (REDHAWK/RFNext, GNU, etc)
• RF signals analysis and SIGnals DEVelopment (SIGDEV)
• Experience with message queue implementation/communication
• Experience with Development Suites (X-Midas, etc.) or C++/Python-based signal processing tools and libraries • Able to design, develop and implement systems within a Unix/Linux environment. Desired, not Required skill or familiarity with the following. • DSP background with strong understanding of satellite communications system design and theory with implementation of concepts into software
• Time and / or Frequency geolocation technologies and implementation
• Experience with MATLAB
• Experience with GPU/CUDA development
