Intelligence Analyst
GDIT is seeking an Intelligence Analyst to help support our OMC program in McLean, VA. Due to the secure work environment this role entails, telecommuting is not allowed and will require the employee to report full-time onsite.
The Office of Military Commissions (OMC) and Office of the Chief Prosecutor (OCP) require litigation support to prosecution counsel in all aspects of pre-trial investigation and trial preparation for the Military Commissions convened under the Military Commissions Act of 2009. Analysts supporting OCP would be responsible for identifying, resourcing, and executing discovery-related missions as directed by the Chief Prosecutor, including, but not limited to:
- Conducting comprehensive searches for documents in response to specific defense discovery requests, applying applicable redactions, and crafting adequate substitutes
- Retrieving and refining, as necessary, summaries and substitutions
- Performing other discovery, pretrial preparation, and trial missions, including, but not limited to, research and analysis of existing intelligence, law enforcement, and legal products, as well as creation of new products
- Managing the organization's task-oriented system and assisting in its daily support of all trial teams
- Executing occasional travel, both local and international
Travel Requirements: up to 25% international travel, or as determined by OCP.
What You'll Need to Succeed – Required:
- Clearance: Active TS/SCI security clearance **Note: clearance MUST be held in JPAS/DISS**
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Criminal Justice, Administration of Justice, Legal Studies, National Security, Intelligence, Paralegal Studies) or equivalent combination
- Year's Experience: 2 years experience in intelligence analysis and/or criminal litigation support
- Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to manage multiple, simultaneous task requirements within a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral), strong attention to detail, excellent analytical and presentation skills, and the ability to work effectively with diverse groups in a demanding environment
- Ability to work independently
- Able to report onsite as indicated above

- Education: Master's Degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Criminal Justice, Administration of Justice, Legal Studies, National Security, Intelligence, Paralegal Studies)
- Skills & Abilities:
- Knowledge of Military Commission process
- Progressive experience providing support to criminal litigation
The likely salary range for this position is $70,658 - $92,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40
Travel Required: 10-25%
