ServiceNow Developer SME, TS/SCI Security Clearance Required, Denver, CO
We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Developer SME to join the team in support of Federal Government clients. As a ServiceNow Developer SME, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining custom applications and integrations on the ServiceNow platform. This position is 100% onsite. Qualified candidates must have an active TS/SCI security clearance.
ServiceNow Developer SME Responsibilities:
- Develop custom applications, workflows, and integrations on the ServiceNow platform.
- Collaborate with business analysts, administrators, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and design effective solutions.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using ServiceNow best practices and coding standards.
- Perform unit testing and debugging to ensure the quality and reliability of developed solutions.
- Integrate ServiceNow with other systems and tools used by Federal Government clients.
- Optimize application performance and scalability.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers and other team members.
- Stay current with ServiceNow updates, patches, and new features.
ServiceNow Developer SME Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or master's degree in software engineering, or related field.
- 5-10 years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer.
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer Certification.
- Strong proficiency in ServiceNow scripting languages, such as JavaScript and AngularJS.
- Experience with ServiceNow APIs, integrations, and web services.
- Knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and best practices, such as Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL).
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools, such as Scrum and Jira.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Candidates do not need a current Security Clearance but must be clearable.
- ServiceNow Certified Integration Specialist Certification is a plus.
- Experience working with Federal Government clients and understanding of their requirements is a plus.
- Knowledge of Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), Human Resources (HR), and Customer Service Management (CSM) ServiceNow applications.
