Job DescriptionThe Dispatcher plays a meaningful role in managing our towing resources to keep vehicle pickups and deliveries running smoothly, optimizing branch productivity. The incumbent will provide exceptional customer service to towing partners and coordinate capacity and resource demands. The Dispatch role is crucial to the organization's business and branch growth.ResponsibilitiesDirect activities related to towing operations and on‑time performance goalsManage tow truck resources, assign work efficiently, and optimize productivityPlan future daily resource requirements and coordinate with towers to line up required truck resourcesIdentify when demand exceeds tow truck capacity and refer to part‑time networks for additional resourcesMonitor transportation costs and identify opportunities for savingsRecruit new towers to build towing networks with added resourcesProvide necessary documentation to drivers for each pickup and delivery, including check and cash handling as neededMonitor work‑in‑progress and make adjustments to ensure timely performanceEscalate issues or concerns related to transportation activities to managementBuild a fundamental relationship with the IAA Transportation teamMaintain positive working relationships with all tow driversReview and analyze reports on transportation activity, including time‑performance metricsComply with safety guidelines and company policies and proceduresOther duties as assignedQualifications2+ years of customer service experience, 1+ years of direct dispatch experience#J-18808-Ljbffr
