Growing company offering:Vacation time401kHRAJob Details We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Permanent Dispatcher to join our dynamic and fast-paced team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and dispatching the delivery of goods, ensuring smooth and timely operations. This role involves a high level of interaction with drivers, customers, and other team members, requiring excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a strong attention to detail. The Permanent Dispatcher will also be expected to manage logistics, maintain records, and perform data entry tasks.Responsibilities Coordinate and dispatch goods to ensure timely and efficient delivery.Monitor and track deliveries, updating the system with real-time information.Communicate effectively with drivers to provide necessary information about routes, weather conditions, and delivery schedules.Handle emergency situations by rerouting deliveries or coordinating alternative plans.Maintain accurate records of all dispatch information.Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as applicable laws and regulations.Collaborate with the logistics team to optimize delivery routes and schedules.Analyze and report on delivery issues and performance metrics.Perform data entry tasks, updating and maintaining the database with accurate information.Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, providing high-quality customer service.Qualifications Proven experience in dispatching, logistics management, and data entry. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role is preferred.Strong knowledge of dispatch procedures and best practices.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions under pressure.Proficiency in using dispatch software and other related computer applications.High level of accuracy and attention to detail.Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.Strong customer service skills.Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to dispatch and delivery.If you have the experience, skills, and drive to excel in this challenging and rewarding role, we invite you to apply.
