The Technician will be expected to meet weekly service and productivity goals. The Technician is also responsible for maintaining a clean, well-organized vehicle and ensuring a safe environment for his/herself, co-workers and customers.Job ResponsibilitiesManage time in order to complete the maximum amount of service calls while maintaining a high level of qualityAchieve weekly productivity goals assigned by the managerLearn applicable fire protection codes and obtain the applicable local and/or state Fire Equipment Certificate of CompetencyProtect and maintain company equipmentWork in a safe manner as outlined by company safety procedures including the driving, personal protective equipment, and lockout/tag-out policiesMaintain their vehicle in accordance with company procedures and ensure it is clean and organized.Job RequirementsPrior experience in Fire Suppression is a strong plus but not required.Knowledge of applicable inspection and servicing codes is a plus but not required.Ability to learn and comprehend general electrical safety proceduresValid driver's license and a current and sustainable good driving recordSatisfactory results in a company mandated criminal background check and drug testA strong work ethic and professional appearanceAbility to sell, communicate effectively, and possess excellent customer service skills is highly preferred.Preferred QualificationsExperience either in the fire protection industry or the commercial customer service business in some capacity is a plus but not required.An electrical background or a basic level of comfort and knowledge with electrical work is a plus.Successful completion of a drug test and pre-employment background screening is required.
