Data Processor/Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Data Processor/Analyst to join our initial processing team to ensure timely receipt, processing, analysis and distribution of data used to analyze the accuracy and reliability of the US's Strategic Weapon Systems.
As a Data Processor/Analyst...
- You will work as part of a team to select appropriate data inputs, monitor execution of processes and applications, and verify outputs are complete.
- You will exercise technical judgement in applying quality control checks on data from initial receipt through final data delivery and will be responsible for troubleshooting (independently and collaboratively) data discrepancies to ensure data accuracy.
- You will leverage software to distribute a variety of SWS and Telemetry data products in accordance with program and sponsor policies and procedures.
- You will assist the Operations section with keeping procedures current by writing and updating test plans, scenario documents and processing checklists; this includes identification of software/process inefficiencies and recommending solutions to address inefficiencies
- You will develop test plans for and lead software testing of the initial processing software applications using automated and manual testing methods.
- You will work alongside technical professional staff to develop technical concepts/alternatives for the future of Trident data offloads, leveraging encryption technologies
Qualifications
You meet our minimum qualifications for the job if you...
- Have significant work experience in a specific technical field (e.g. networking topologies/design, encryption/decryption devices, etc.)
- Have demonstrated relevant experience with executing software in the Microsoft Windows environment.
- Have at least three years of demonstrated recent experience with Microsoft Office products.
- Have strong written and oral communication skills.
- Have excellent interpersonal, organizational & multi-tasking skills.
- Hold an active Secret level security clearance and can ultimately obtain a Top Secret level clearance. If selected, you will be subject to a government security clearance investigation and must meet the requirements for access to classified information. Eligibility requirements include U.S. citizenship.

- Have an Associate's Degree
- Have data processing or data entry experience.
- Have familiarity with the US/UK Navy's Fleet Ballistic Missile Submarines and Strategic Weapons Systems.
- Have interest in obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.
- Have technical writing experience.
- Have a mathematical and/or analytical inclination, demonstrated by pursuit of formal education in a technical field.
Because of the uniqueness of this position, the following special working conditions exist:
- Some processing must be performed in classified closed areas.
- Staff may be asked to work occasional weekend or evening hours to support operations conducted in support of the Nation's Strategic Deterrence mission.
- Staff may occasionally be requested to travel to support flight tests in support of the Nation's Strategic Deterrence mission.
Minimum Rate $30.00 Hourly Maximum Rate $57.05 Hourly
