• Responsible for overall security inside and outside of the Thrift Store.
• Maintain an active presence on the sales floor by conducting frequent circulations of the premises.
• Observe and report any unusual behaviors of potential areas of conflict between donors and shoppers and report it to supervisors.
• Communicate emergency situations in timely manner to Manager and co-workers. Notify Manager when law enforcement officers and/or fire department, EMS personnel are called to location.
• Document unusual activity, vandalism, maintenance concerns, injuries and medical concerns as needed. Notify appropriate supervisor as necessary.
• Monitor and maintain grounds and perimeters of facility.
• Work successfully and in unity with store personnel.
• Support the mission statement of The Salvation Army.

Education & Experience: High school Diploma and experience in loss prevention preferred.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
