Supervisory General Engineer US Department of War•Warren, MI, United StatesDirector, Directorate Of Public WorksServes as the Director, Directorate of Public Works exercising full authority for management and operation decisions related to engineering and environmental activities, housing and overall DPW logistical support of an Army Installation.Oversees the administration and management of the base support contract for engineering, housing, and logistical activities to include establishing policies, reviewing performance and providing acceptance of contractor services.Confers with top managers to establish broad mission requirements and objectives, plan for accomplishment, review status and progress, provide management guidance and direction, and provide advice and/or decision on policy matters.Provides overall continuity in leadership to ensure commitments to and from customers/partners are met and project execution is achieved.Directs the preparation, compilation, review, analysis, and submission of all program data required for the directorate program budget input.Evaluates and interprets directives and policy instructions regarding assigned and proposed programs and makes recommendations on feasibility for accomplishment.Provide engineering and project management support to DoD program offices overseeing the development and integration of C4ISR technologies onto military ground vehicle platforms.Job ResponsibilitiesInspect and pack material according to set standardsFollow all quality instructions referring to the jobs inspectedUse all PPE required by the departmentResponsible for keep...Full time in office - Will not be working from home.
