Ability to debug, optimize code, and automate routine tasksSystematic problem-solving approach, coupled with effective communication skills and a sense of driveUnderstanding of Unix/Linux operating systemsDemonstrated experience building continuous, automated build and deploy pipelinesDemonstrated experience in conditional procedure of build and deploy pipeline based on security scans of source and artifactCapable of working with software development team and platform infrastructure team to provide meaningful guidance to both for code development and deploymentIn-depth knowledge of version control of release artifacts to facilitate upgrade rollout and rollbackStrong understanding of containerization of web applicationsUnderstanding and familiarity with container orchestration engines such as K8s (EKS, AKS, GKE, Kops, OpenShift)Experience with GitLab CI/CDExperience with bash shell scriptingDesired:Agile, Lean, DevOps, Cloud, Security+ or other professional certificationFamiliaritywith DoD IT standards and federal security standards strongly desiredKnowledge of the Army software development process and its technologiesHands-on experience using agile software development methodologiesStrong communication skills and the ability to work wellonacross-functional agileteamExperience working in a consultant/client environmentTarget salary range: $101,145 - $173,000Disclaimer: The salary range displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is not a guarantee of compensation.
