Campus Security Officer
Primary Purpose: Provide for the safety, security, and well-being of students, staff, and visitors on school property. Monitor campus activities, personnel, and visitors to maintain a safe and orderly environment. Respond to inquiries, address security concerns, and enforce district policies, campus procedures, and regulations related to safety and security.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification: High School Diploma or GED Valid Texas driver license Possess at minimum a Level II Security License issued by the Texas Department of Public Safety
Special Knowledge/Skills: Demonstrated ability to work effectively and professionally with students, parents, faculty, staff, and community members Knowledge of emergency response procedures, first aid, CPR, and basic medical assistance Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear and concise reports Knowledge of security operations, safety practices, and standard security procedures
Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field preferred Ability to meet the physical demands required to perform security duties effectively Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
