SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support all company initiatives, programs and policies with a positive attitude.
- Enforce Plant Operating Rules and Regulations and Safety Rules.
- Work diligently and cooperatively with other employees to achieve all goals, targets and initiatives set forth by Management.
- Closely monitor malting process and act diligently to avoid any quality issues or production delays.
- Supervise malt production personnel, with overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of his/her unit.
- Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Lead operator carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
- Participate in all required training and education. Lead operator should develop his/her own Career Development Plan under the direction of Management and Human Resource Department.
- Oversee daily operations on the floor to avoid any delays, recover from delays, prevent accidents, and maintain quality and efficiency. Please notify Process Manager of noteworthy actions taken.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- Minimum 5+ years of direct supervisory experience. Experience in malthouse operations preferred.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting
- Proficiency with MS Word and MS Excel.
- Ability to handle the physical requirements of the position, including repeated bending, stretching, walking, twisting and lifting.
