As a Security Rep, you will be responsible for supporting the security efforts of the F‑35 program. This will involve controlling and managing unclassified and classified material, as well as providing physical security for multiple Special Access Program Facilities. You will also manage access and badging to all F‑35 areas in specified facilities, provide escort services when required, and assist in the planning and execution of program security operations and procedures related to Special Access Program Facilities. Additionally, you will aid and support classified meetings and may be required to provide security briefings as necessary. Your responsibilities will also include managing personnel files, including visitor access requests, program access requests, and file reviews. You will perform other security duties as necessary and provide support to other Special Access Programs Facilities as needed. This position will primarily be assigned to second shift. On occasion, incumbents may be required to work first‑ or second‑shift assignments and adhere to non‑standard schedules that differ from the primary shift for which they were hired and could include weekends due to mission requirements.Occasional business travel—including deployment and detachment support in demanding or austere environments—may be mandated to sustain F‑35 security operations outside MCAS Beaufort.
