Job DescriptionUnder general direction, this role supports student finance operations by performing key financial aid and student account processes aligned with team functions. You will play a critical role in promoting student success by ensuring accurate, timely processing of Title IV financial aid and delivering responsive support to both internal partners and external agencies.This position is responsible for running and analyzing reports to identify, track, and follow up with students requiring financial support or action, helping drive positive student outcomes.In addition, this role supports the administration of the Federal Work-Study (FWS) Program for Chamberlain University and Walden University. Responsibilities include awarding, monitoring, and reconciling FWS funds to ensure student eligibility and maintain compliance with institutional policies and Title IV federal regulations. You will partner closely with university stakeholders to support student employment initiatives, track program utilization, and uphold federal reporting and compliance standards.Key ResponsibilitiesExecute student finance processes in accordance with established procedures and guidelinesApply working knowledge of Title IV regulations with minimal supervision, while proactively expanding expertise in student financeRun, analyze, and manage reports to identify, track, and follow up on outstanding student accountsCommunicate clearly and effectively with internal teams, university partners, and external agencies regarding student account and financial informationComplete daily and weekly production reporting while meeting established deadlines and service level agreements (SLAs)Deliver high‑quality, accurate, and timely work while effectively managing multiple priorities simultaneouslyIdentify potential operational and compliance risks and escalate as appropriateSupport Federal Work-Study program operations, including awarding, monitoring, and reconciliation of fundsPartner with university stakeholders to ensure smooth program execution and compliance with federal requirementsPerform additional duties as assigned to support team and organizational goalsAdhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulatory standardsQualificationsBachelor's degree preferredMinimum of 2 years of experience in student accounts, financial aid, or a related field preferredStrong commitment to delivering excellent customer service with a student‑first mindsetExceptional verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrated professionalism, integrity, and sound judgment in all interactionsHigh attention to detail with strong follow‑through and accountabilityCollaborative team player with the ability to work effectively across departmentsComfortable working in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environmentProven ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing demandsProactive approach to staying current on student finance regulations and industry changesExcellent organizational and time‑management skillsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel), along with database and internet applicationsStrong mathematical and analytical abilitiesMust be eligible to obtain and maintain access to the NSLDS system (cannot be in default on Title IV Federal Aid)Compensation and BenefitsIn support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $19.15 and $23.00. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job‑related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
