This is a full-time position working out of Groton, CT.If you are comfortable in intense, fast-paced environments, can think on your feet, and can excel in team-based collaborative efforts, then this may be the right job for you.The Engineering Technician will perform technical evaluations and required corrective actions for the AN/BYG-1 Submarine Combat Control System in accordance with DoD and U.S. Navy Maintenance Procedures, and Cyber System instructions.Travel: up to 10%You Will:Provide support in a variety of engineering tasks in the installation, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, calibration, testing, operation of the AN/BYG-1 Submarine Combat Control System in accordance with engineering specificationsSupport systems engineering activities with subject matter expertiseAssist with testing and evaluations; perform validations/verifications of the AN/BYG-1 Combat Control SystemAssist in the disassembly, reassembly, installation and testing of the AN/BYG-1 Submarine Combat SystemAssist in accomplishing Engineering Change Instructions (ECI's)Develop technical and/or engineering data for Planned Maintenance Systems (PMS), technical manuals, troubleshooting procedures, drawing updates, operation procedures, and maintainability improvementsBe the direct on-site customer interface for equipment/systems installation, testing, survey, fabrication, and other engineering tasks as neededComply with engineering documentation standards, engineering plans, and system specifications and test procedures; review change proposals for equipment impactsYou Have:Possession of and the ability to maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Level Security Clearance.Hands‑on experience configuring, troubleshooting, and repairing computer networking equipment and Windows Servers and WorkstationsSelf‑motivation, strong work ethic and commitment to quality and teamworkA passion for learningAbility to travel up to 10%Education/Experience:Technical (Military/Trade) school/training beyond high school and at least 5 years of job‑related experienceWe Would Be Impressed If You Had:U.S. Navy Combat Systems and network equipment experienceAN/BYG-1 Submarine Combat System ExperienceEqual Opportunity EmployerAtlas Tech is an equal opportunity employer.
