Requirements:
• Plan, coordinate, and execute logistics operations to support the PD Aerostats program, including procurement, transportation, and supply chain management.
• Develop and maintain logistics plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation, to ensure that logistics operations are conducted efficiently and effectively.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, testing, and operations, to ensure that logistics requirements are met and that logistics operations are aligned with program objectives.
• Conduct logistics analyses and studies to identify areas for improvement and develop recommendations for optimizing logistics operations.
• Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders, including suppliers, vendors, and transportation providers, to ensure that logistics operations are conducted smoothly and efficiently.
• Provide expert guidance and support to logistics team members, including training and mentoring on logistics best practices and procedures.
• Stay current with changes to logistics regulations, policies, and procedures, including updates to Army and DoD policies and procedures, to ensure that logistics operations are compliant and aligned with current requirements.
• Develop and maintain logistics documentation, including logistics plans, reports, and metrics, to support logistics management and oversight.
• Identify and mitigate logistics risks, including developing and implementing risk mitigation strategies and plans to ensure that logistics operations are conducted safely and efficiently.
• Develop and deliver briefings, reports, and other presentations to senior leadership and other stakeholders on logistics operations, including providing expert testimony and advice on logistics matters. Responsibilities:
• Six (6) or more years of working experience in the Life Cycle Logistics field and familiarity with Defense Acquisition.
• BA/BS or higher.
• An additional 6 years experience in a related field may be substituted for education.
• A Masters degree or higher may be substituted for 3 years of experience as long as their degree is in a related field
