Security Installation Technician (Access Control)Full Time | Pays $35.00 - $45.00 per hour | Location: Framingham, MA (95% with occasional travel)Superior Communication Services is growing and we're looking for motivated, dependable Security Installation Technicians to join our team. If you're hands on, hardworking, and ready to grow, we want to meet you.ResponsibilitiesInstall, test, and commission commercial security systemsRoughing in, terminating, and testing copper cabling. Fiber termination experience is a plusInstalling pathway supports such as j hooks and ladder traysServicing/troubleshooting network cabling in a commercial environmentInstalling closet hardware including backboards, connecting blocks, racks, patch panels and fiber enclosuresPerform installation of security related equipment for commercial industries, including installing, testing, and commissioning door hardware & camera systemsWillingness to travel to national job sites as neededSkillsStrong understanding of computer networking principles related to security systems and remote access software.Mechanical knowledge for installing hardware components such as sensors, locks, CCTV cameras, and alarm devices.Experience working as a service technician in security or telecommunication fields with a focus on low voltage systems.Knowledge of security system components including CCTV cameras, sensors, alarms (fire alarm systems), IDS devices, surveillance equipment, and locksmithing basics.Positive attitude and ability to work independently or as part of a teamValid driver's license and reliable transportationManufacturer certifications or AV/fiber experience a plus.Benefits401(k)401(k) matchingEmployee discountFlexible spending accountHealth insurancePaid time offProfessional development assistanceReferral program#J-18808-Ljbffr
