Dispatcher

As a Dispatcher at Academy Bus, you will join a cross-functional team, keeping the lines of communication open between its employees and customers. This role provides an opportunity for growth within the largest privately owned and operated transportation company in the U.S.

This position is located at our Hackensack, NJ location.

Earn $23.00-$25.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications.

Must be able to work a flexible schedule which may occasionally include some nights and weekends.

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of scheduling or operations experience
  • MS Outlook and Excel
  • CDL with Passenger Endorsement is a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Review schedules and requests
  • Monitor service performance
  • Coordinate with terminal leadership, customer service, and other teams to ensure safe and effective operations

Desired Qualities:

  • Ability to manage in a fast paced, high change work environment
  • Solid internal and external customer service skills
  • Organized, analytical and drive for results
  • Instinct for process improvement
