Candidate will interact directly with government customers and community stakeholders.Contribute to risk and resilience assessments over a broad range of threats to satellite operations including, but not limited to, RF and optical interference and counterspace threats.Support focus areas of the department, which could include modeling and risk assessments of kinetic threats (such as debris and collision), Space Domain Awareness, and mission operations.Conduct a range of analysis using a framework of modeling, simulation and analysis capabilities including in-house, custom and commercially available/gov‑provided modeling toolsAnalyze electro‑optical (EO), infrared (IR), radar and passive radio frequency (RF) sensor concepts, architectures, and algorithmsProvide independent assessments and lead studies with teams of analystsQualificationsMinimum Requirements:Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhDCurrent TS/SCI W Poly clearanceDemonstrated experience within the SDA and space control mission areasExperience with, or understanding of, electronic warfare and directed energy effectsExperience in modeling, simulation, analysis, and/or algorithm developmentExperience in at least one the following programming languages; Java, C++, Python, MATLAB, C, or FORTRAN.Good interpersonal communication and briefing skills along with the ability to work independently and interact effectively with high‑level government and contractor personnel.Target Salary Range$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
