    SUPERVISING ENFORCEMENT TECHJob Number: 419690Department of Finance (Citation Administration)Number of Positions: 2 (Additional vacancies possible pending budget approval)Starting Salary: $44,460Location2 N LaSalle St. 1220Days & HoursMonday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pmResponsibilitiesSupervise a staff of Traffic Enforcement Technicians reviewing photographic evidence from automated enforcement cameras to validate Municipal Code violations.Validate photographic evidence and event data for potential speed violations captured by automated enforcement cameras.Authorize acceptance or rejection of events as violations based on sufficient evidence.Resolve problems and disputes concerning the accuracy of potential violations and identification of registered vehicle owners.Meet with supervisory staff to review staffing, work priorities, communicate procedural changes, and discuss business operations.Establish and implement work policies and procedures to ensure optimum productivity.Prepare and review productivity reports and evaluate the performance of subordinate staff.Respond to atypical or sensitive complaints and inquiries.Maintain records of daily activity logs, including equipment malfunctions and repairs, contacts, and statistics on work performed.Retrieve requested photo images when required.Prepare work activity reports.Minimum QualificationsEducation, Training, and Experience : Three years of customer service experience plus at least two years of work experience using personal computer equipment and standard software applications.Working Conditions : Fast‑paced office environment.Equipment : Standard office equipment (telephone, printer, photocopier, fax machine, calculator).The City of Chicago is an Equal Employment Opportunity, Military Friendly, and Fair Chance Employer.#J-18808-Ljbffr
