OverviewFlux is supporting an active FEMA disaster recovery project in New Mexico and is building a roster of experienced Risk Reduction Subject Matter Experts. This role supports recovery and mitigation efforts focused on reducing future risk to communities, property, and infrastructure impacted by disaster events.What You'll SupportTechnical review of risk reduction and hazard mitigation measuresEvaluation of mitigation strategies tied to disaster recovery effortsSupport for documentation, recommendations, and quality control reviewsAdvising project teams on best practices for risk reduction and loss avoidanceCoordination with multidisciplinary recovery teams and stakeholdersWhat We're Looking For10+ years of professional experience in risk reduction, hazard mitigation, disaster recovery, engineering, planning, or a related fieldExperience supporting federal, state, or large?scale recovery programs preferredStrong analytical and technical communication skillsProfessional certifications could include, but are not limited to:PE, PMP, CFM, AICP, FEMA mitigation certifications, or similar professional credentials#J-18808-Ljbffr
