- Utilize working knowledge of applicable DoD acquisition directives to support the development of Missile Defense System (MDS) acquisition policy, plans, processes, procedures, and guidance for MDS development and fielding
- Develop Acquisition Plans, Justification and Approvals, Request for Proposal packages, Statements of Work, and Contract Data Requirement Lists
- Interpret MDA acquisition guidance to support acquisition planning and MDS program integration
- Prepare planning documents to coordinate integrated acquisition strategies within the MDS and OGA partners
- Develop reports, information papers, decision papers, and briefings for senior leadership and external stakeholder leadership
- Support and interact daily with high level DoD Officials (O-6 and above, GS-15/NH-4 equivalent), sitting on-site with the DoD Program Office and ability to deliver products successfully in a fast-paced environment (on demand)
- Bachelor's Degree and 12+ years of relevant experience or master's degree and 8+ years of relevant experience
- Active Secret clearance
- Possess knowledge of acquisition processes/activities required to support the evaluation of contract performance against the program baselines
- Experience translating technical requirements into contract requirements
- Capable of working independently or leading cross-functional teams to research, track, and complete ad hoc tasks associated with the PWS
- Experience in cost, schedule and performance management for a space-based program and/or a DoD
- Expertise in strategic planning, acquisition strategy development, and development of key acquisition documentation to support acquisition strategy approval and execution
- Prior MDA experience
