SUMMARY: The primary duty of the Cross Guard is to facilitate the safe crossing of students at streets and intersections near schools.

- Communicate traffic and crossing rules and other information to students and adults.
- Direct traffic movement or warn of hazards, using signs, flags, and hand signals.
- Record license numbers of vehicles disregarding traffic signals, and report infractions to appropriate authorities.?
- Other duties as assigned.
