Position Description
The Technical Trainer is both an experienced educator in professional settings as well as a technical expert of their field. This role will require a significant amount of research in growing trends of their area of expertise, as well as trends in talent development and adult education in professional settings. They will need to be quick on their feet to adapt and change directions with the needs of the industry, the department they support, or the measured and defined needs of the institution. From research, development, measurement, and improvement, the Technical Trainer takes on the full responsibility of the value, retention, and clearly defined success metrics of their curriculums.
Major/Essential Functions
- Training and onboarding new hires.
- Rounding in clinics providing at-the-elbow support.
- Troubleshooting issues within Epic.
- Working and resolving ServiceNow tickets.
- Providing support through various forms of media (Zoom, ServiceNow, Email, etc.)
- Creating education to distribute to end users.
Required Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Bachelor's degree with 2 years of training experience in a technical or clinical setting; OR a combination of education and/or training experience to equal 6 years.
