    Dispatcher

Do you thrive in the fast-paced world of dispatching and enjoy being the vital link between our customers and our skilled technicians? Are you a master organizer with a knack for matching talent to task? If so, Gallaher Company is seeking a highly motivated Dispatcher to join our team!

We're not your average plumbing and HVAC company - we're a one-stop service solution for the multifamily industry, serving families both inside and outside our organization. As a Dispatcher, you'll be the voice of our company, the first person our customers connect with when they call in for service. You'll also be at the heart of our operation, ensuring that our technicians are in the right place at the right time to deliver exceptional service.

This is your chance to join a team that lives by our core values: Unity, No Gossip, Winners Win, Relentless Servant Mentality, Integrity, and Extreme Accountability.

The Perks of Being Part of the Family

We believe in empowering our team members to reach their full potential. That's why we invest heavily in development. You'll have opportunities to attend workshops and trainings to stay ahead of the curve and develop your skill set. We empower our team members by fostering a culture of learning and advancement, with opportunities for internal promotions and skill-building initiatives. This commitment to Winners Win ensures our entire team has the tools and knowledge to succeed.

We offer a benefits package including medical, dental, vision, paid holidays, and a Financial Wellness Program to help you achieve your financial goals.

But the real benefits are the people and the positive, collaborative culture we've built!

    Dispatch Responsibilities

    • Answer incoming customer calls for service with a friendly and professional demeanor.
    • Proactively call customers to schedule or reschedule service appointments.
    • Efficiently organize and manage calls on the dispatch board, ensuring timely responses and accurate scheduling.
    • Dispatch service technicians to customer locations, considering their skills, availability, and proximity to the job site.
    • Maintain accurate customer records and promptly address any customer concerns or issues.
    • Perform general office tasks as needed, including data entry, filing, and answering emails.
    • Effectively track paused jobs and reschedule them in a timely manner.
    • Participate in an on-call rotation schedule with other exempt staff members.
    Qualifications:
    • Minimum 3 years of dispatching experience in a service industry environment within the last 5 years.
    • General knowledge of plumbing and HVAC systems a must.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
    • Proficient in using computers and dispatching software.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
