    Job Title

    Job Description

    Help: Conducts analysis supporting criminal investigations and operations involving or relating to subjects/victims of crimes that affect the readiness of personnel. Gathers criminal information, analyzes crime patterns and trends, criminal intelligence information on criminals, makes interpretations and writes comprehensive reports.

    Assists in the direction, coordination, review and evaluation of law enforcement-related activities within AFOSI and coordinates those activities with DoD and national-level agencies. Reviews and evaluates AFOSI field law enforcement reporting for content and responsiveness to taskings and provides constructive feedback to enhance field performance.

    Establishes and maintains a current series of liaison contacts with DoD, AFOSI and regional agencies related to law enforcement issues. Interaction with these contacts includes exchanging information and cooperating on matters of mutual interest. Advises higher level officials and groups working on the capabilities and activities of criminal entities and/or enterprises with information gained from personal experience, research and collaboration with other criminal intelligence specialists.

    Represents AFOSI as a subject matter expert on the organization, personnel, activities, and capabilities of entities that pose a criminal threat to the USAF. Demonstrates core competencies to include critical thinking skills, strong collaboration skills, and a customer focus. Responsible for remaining abreast of national and regional law enforcement issues which have an impact on AFOSI investigative activities.
