Systems Integrator – Expert
Location – Currently in Springfield, VA but eventually moving to Herndon, VA
MUST HAVE A TS/SCI WITH A FULL-SCOPE POLYGRAPH
Job Description: This position is for a Build Center Lead / Lab Manager. Individual manages a build center environment that ensures the successful build, testing, packaging and disposition of Customer equipment. The current position is in Springfield but will be moving within the next 6 months to Dulles area.
• Individual in this position provides support in the areas of planning, requirements gathering, support to technical efforts within the Group for Sponsor projects.
• Will support and represent Sponsor in efforts related to mission planning and execution.
• Develop and present briefings, status reports.
• Create/update documentation/deliverables.
• Develop and manage schedules – incorporate and communicate changes.
• Input Sharepoint changes and work with Engineers on modifications and troubleshooting.
• Work with Logistics/Procurement resources for quotes, receipt and shipping of equipment.
Requirements:
• Years of Experience Required: 11+ years of experience or combination of education and experience • Required Education Level/Major: BS in Engineering or Computer Science • Can Equivalent Experience be Substituted for Educational Requirement (Yes/No): Yes
• ** Travel requirement/amount and duration are subject to the needs of the Customer and may be more or less than what is listed.
Required Skills:
• Advanced knowledge of applications and functions related to telecommunications, to include satellite communications, networking, enterprise systems used by the Sponsor as well as the IC.
• Demonstrated experience working well with large diverse teams, alone and with mission partners as required.
• Strong understanding of Customer technical and secure environment.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to effectively manage several projects simultaneously in a rapidly paced environment.
• Ability to Incorporates/Implement changes to schedule.
• Working knowledge of Customer's organization, internal policies and processes
• Project Organization/tracking.
• Expert with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, using Tableau and ServiceNow.
• Willing to “go the extra mile” in customer service and effort in ensuring that time critical requirements are met.
• Ability to work as part of a team of very strong personalities in a very dynamic environment.
• Highly mission oriented.
Optional Skills:
• Knowledge of Customer field communications.
• Experience in Customer's Project Management Framework.
