    • A nonprofit behavioral health organization serving the Tri-Cities region of Washington is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) for ongoing locum coverage within its Intensive Outpatient Care Program (IOP) for children and adolescents.
    • Position Details:Start: ASAP - OngoingSchedule: Flexible, 2-4 days per week (opportunity to expand)Initial psychiatric evaluations: 90 minutesFollow-up appointments: 30 minutesEMR: CrediblePatient population: Ages 6 through adolescence
    • Program Overview:The Intensive Outpatient Care Program provides structured, high-level behavioral health services as an alternative to inpatient care. The program supports children and adolescents with significant emotional or behavioral challenges, focusing on stabilization, family engagement, and prevention of hospitalization or out-of-home placement.Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluationsProvide medication management and follow-up careCollaborate with therapists, case managers, and family membersSupport treatment planning within a multidisciplinary care model
    • Requirements:Active Washington PMHNP licenseExperience with child/adolescent psychiatry preferredComfortable working within an IOP level of care
