This posting is for an outpatient Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner within the Department of Cooper Behavioral Health.
The Psychiatric Advanced Practice Provider will function within the scope of practice as defined by the state and national APP nurse practice act. The APP utilizes the scientific process and national standards of care as a framework for managing patient care. The Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner is responsible for the direct care, initiation and follow-up of pediatric patients that matches his/her delineation of privileges and skill set.
Patients seen through Cooper Behavioral Health include, but are not limited to, MDD, GAD, Bipolar Disorder, PTSD, Psychotic Disorders, SCZ, ADHD, and Personality Disorders. -
