Summary
Supervisory Physical Security Specialist
Help The major duties of the Supervisory Physical Security Specialist position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Conducts continuing evaluation of physical security programs, systems and practices, including Identification Media and Awards services throughout the Bureau through surveys, studies, analysis and monitoring of controls and reports.
- Develops recommendations to correct identified problems and procedures for implementation of recommended corrective actions.
- Promotes security awareness throughout the Bureau and advises senior officials on significant physical security issues at Bureau Headquarters or field offices.
- Manages the physical security programs of the Bureau on a nationwide basis and coordinates operations with other Federal or local law enforcement agencies as required.
