    **This is a part-time position 12-8p with M-W off*

    The Dispatcher is responsible for all aspects of the Guest airport arrival experience within service levels. The Dispatcher partners with Bus Operations to achieve an efficient use of vehicles while minimizing Guest wait time. Responsibilities include:
    • Considers various factors such as wait time, destinations, and travel time to create efficient vehicle drop off routes to meet service goals.
    • Monitors vehicle flow to the airport to ensure vehicle availability when it is needed.
    • Monitors the hotel departures to ensure that vehicles are being dispatched in a timely manner to balance both arrival and departure needs.
    • Communicates to the Boarding Representative which parties and hotels are now loading from the waiting areas.
    • Coordinates the movement of vehicles between terminal B and C.
    • Anticipates vehicle shortages and proactively partners with Bus Operations to take corrective action.
    • Establishes expected wait times for vehicles to arrive at the airport.
    • Keeps the Guests informed of expected wait times and any information in delayed situations.
    • Communicates any airport service disruptions such as ramp or road closures or general traffic congestion.
    • Monitors roadways between the airport and hotels and communicates re-route suggestions as necessary.
    • Resolves any problems or driver questions/issues during the boarding process.
    • Advises management of any service-related issues that need documentation and follow up.
    • Performs the Greeter and Boarding Representative roles as necessary.
    • May be required to perform other related duties as requested.
    QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
    • Effective oral and written communication skills required
    • Customer service experience preferred
    • Knowledge of Disney/Lake Buena Vista Resort areas preferred
    • Basic computer knowledge preferred
    SPECIAL REQUIRMENTS:
    • Must be able to remain calm, pleasant, and poised under high-pressure situations
    • Must be able to work flexible hour
    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
    • Work is performed in various environmental conditions
    • Must be able to read and understand program scheduling reports and other related materials
    • Must be able to communicate by telephone, 2-way radio, or in person, in clear fluent English, in a courteous friendly and professional manner, with clients, guests, co-workers and industry related personnel
    • Must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time and follow company regulations regarding dress code, attendance requirements and behavior
    • Must be able to utilize a reliable mode of transportation to get to and from the Orlando International Airport
