Security Officer Part Time Desk Attendant

Allied Universal - - Responsibilities: Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a front desk location within a utilities environment; Monitor access at the front desk by greeting visitors, checking identification and/or credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and communicating entry procedures to employees, contractors, and guests; Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through the proper chain of command and documenting activity as required; Answer phones, manage incoming inquiries, and support front desk operations by providing directions, coordinating with site contacts, and reporting unusual or suspicious activity; Observe the lobby, reception area, and nearby access points to help to deter unauthorized access and support a professional, orderly environment
