    We are seeking a mid‑to‑senior level Network Test Engineer (SSR) to support a classified Department of Defense (DoD) program. The ideal candidate is a seasoned Network Engineer with hands‑on expertise in Session Smart Router (SSR) platforms, WAN architecture, and formal network testing methodologies. This role focuses on validating WAN performance, resilience, and functionality within high‑assurance classified environments. Key Responsibilities
    Design, develop, and execute WAN and SSR-focused test plans in a classified environment
    Perform WAN performance testing, fault isolation, and end‑to‑end validation
    Test and evaluate SSR (Session Smart Router / Juniper SSR) or equivalent SD‑WAN / WAN edge platforms
    Analyze network behavior under various operational and failure scenarios
    Document test procedures, results, and remediation recommendations
    Collaborate with network architects, operations teams, and program stakeholders
    Support the continuous improvement of WAN and SSR testing methodologies
    Contribute to automation or configuration management efforts using Ansible, when applicable Required Qualifications
    7+ years of experience in network engineering
    Demonstrated hands‑on experience with SSR (Session Smart Router / Juniper SSR) or equivalent SD‑WAN / WAN edge technologies
    Proven experience in WAN testing, including performance validation, fault isolation, and troubleshooting
    Ability to develop and execute structured network test plans
    Strong understanding of WAN architectures and routing fundamentals
    Active Secret clearance required
    Ability to work onsite at one of the designated locations Preferred Qualifications
    Experience supporting DoD or classified programs
    Exposure to or hands‑on experience with Ansible or network automation tools
    Familiarity with structured test methodologies and formal validation processes
    Ability to operate effectively in high‑security, mission‑critical environments
