    Program: Global Command and Control System – Joint (GCCS-J)
    Position Summary
    We are seeking a Senior Test Engineer to lead test planning, execution, automation, and quality assurance activities for the modernization of the Global Command and Control System–Joint (GCCS J). This role serves as the technical authority for verification and validation across multiple product areas, ensuring that new capabilities meet operational, architectural, and cybersecurity requirements.
    Program Summary
    GCCS J is the DoD's Joint Command and Control system of record, delivering a fused, real time battlespace picture to commanders and warfighters. The modernization effort focuses on cloud native architecture, microservices, enhanced data integration, improved user experience, and alignment with JADC2 objectives.
    Key Responsibilities
    Area Responsibilities
    Test Strategy & Planning • Develop and maintain test strategies, plans, and procedures. • Define approaches for functional, integration, regression, performance, and security testing.
    Test Execution • Execute manual and automated test cases. • Validate microservices, APIs, data flows, and UI components. • Document defects and verify fixes.
    Automation & DevSecOps • Develop automated test scripts. • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
    Sprint Execution • Participate in Sprint Reviews, Process Reviews, and Design Reviews. • Validate acceptance criteria and enforce Definition of Done.
    Stakeholder Collaboration • Work with developers, product owners, and government customers. • Support test readiness reviews.
    Schedule & Reporting • Provide input on test timelines. • Support formal test events (DT&E, OT&E).
    Technical Authority • Serve as authority on test-related issues. • Ensure compliance with performance, security, and data integrity requirements.
    User-Centric Focus • Validate workflows with end users. • Ensure operational usability. Basic Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in STEM.
    • 7+ years of experience in software/system testing.
    • Experience with Agile/Scrum.
    • Proficiency with automation frameworks and scripting languages.
    • Experience testing distributed systems, microservices, APIs, and data pipelines.
    • Familiarity with Linux/UNIX and containerized deployments.
    • Strong analytical and documentation skills.
    • Active Secret clearance. Preferred Qualifications
    • Experience with GCCS J or Joint C2 systems.
    • Knowledge of intelligence data flows and geospatial formats.
    • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps.
    • Familiarity with DISA processes and RMF.
    • Experience supporting DT/OT events.
    • TS/SCI clearance. Desired Competencies
