  • Summary

We are seeking an experienced Marine Estimator to support ship repair, overhaul, and modernization projects across U.S. Navy and commercial vessels.

This individual will play a critical role in developing accurate, competitive cost estimates in a fast-paced, RFP-driven environment.

The role requires a strong understanding of NAVSEA specifications, shipyard operations, and multi-discipline trade work.

The Marine Estimator will be responsible for preparing estimates, including labor, materials, and subcontractor costs, while collaborating closely with production, purchasing, and vendor partners. Projects will primarily support U.S. Navy platforms such as DDG, CVN, LHD, and Coast Guard cutters, with occasional commercial vessel work. Day-to-day, this individual will review technical specifications, drawings, and RFP packages, break down scopes of work, and build detailed cost estimates using tools such as Excel and historical cost data.

The estimator will also engage subcontractors for pricing, validate vendor quotes, and support proposal development and submission efforts. This position requires the ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously and perform effectively under tight deadlines.
