    [About the Role] Join our cutting-edge Structural and Environmental Laboratories team in Orlando, FL, as a Technical/Professional - Test Technician. Be a vital contributor to innovative research and development and production programs at MFC, supporting environmental simulation tests for mission-critical hardware. Work hands-on in a dynamic environment, operating advanced equipment and collaborating with top engineering talent to deliver excellence in environmental testing. [Responsibilities] - Set up and execute structural and environmental simulation tests, including vibration, shock, and climatic exposures, aligned with MIL STD and customer requirements.
    - Operate and maintain a variety of test equipment, ensuring precise installation and safe handling of test hardware.
    - Accurately document test procedures, results, and observations to support technical reporting.
    - Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot issues, refine test processes, and enhance testing efficiency.
    - Learn and apply electromechanical principles to support the operation of electronic control systems and sensors.
    - Uphold laboratory safety standards, including the use of protective equipment and adherence to facility protocols. [Required Skills and Experience] - Minimum 5 years' proficiency with MS Office and Windows systems.
    - At least 5 years' hands-on experience using wrenches, torque wrenches, T-handles, and ratchets.
    - Capable of obtaining an ATF Explosives License.
    - High school diploma or demonstrated hands-on aptitude for hardware testing and evaluation.
    - Physical capability to climb ladders and maneuver around large machinery.
    - Willingness and ability to learn electromechanical concepts and sensor technology. [Preferred Skills] - Experience with powered tools (electric, pneumatic).
    - Prior work as a test technician in an aerospace or environmental test laboratory.
    - Strong mechanical and electromechanical tool proficiency.
    - Hands-on experience with vibration shakers, shock test machines, and climatic chambers.
    - Familiarity with vibration control software and programmable PID temperature controllers.
    - Current DoD Secret clearance.
