Supporting U.S. and partner nations, DoD deploys specialized assets and collaborates with law enforcement and foreign agencies to counter narcotics, terrorism financing, and organized crime through global counterdrug operations. The Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Counternarcotics and Global Threats (ODASD (CN&SP)) develops and oversees DoD policy, strategy, and resources for counterdrug, transnational organized crime, and threat finance missions.We are seeking experienced professionals to support the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Counternarcotics and Stabilization Policy (DASD-CN&SP). These roles involve high-level policy, program, and technical support for global counterdrug, counter-transnational organized crime, and counter-threat finance initiatives aligned with DoD strategic objectives.Location: Washington, DC (Pentagon), This is an on-site role with no telecommuting permitted. Core office hours are Monday through Friday.Required Clearance: Active TS/SCISenior Policy Analyst Program SupportThe Policy Support team will assess global political-military developments and their impact on U.S. efforts to counter drug trafficking, transnational crime, and threat finance.Key Responsibilities:* Conduct assessments of changes to the international political-military environment and the potential impacts on DoD and the government's efforts to counter global drug trafficking and other illicit threat network activities that threaten U.S. national security interests.* Provide advice and recommendations to the government decision makers regarding the implications of existing or proposed changes to government international agreements, military sales, security cooperation investments, and similar activities on CD/CTOC/CTF policies and programs.* Analyze national security policy issues related to DoD support of National Drug Control Program objectives, identify stakeholder equities, and assist government personnel in developing responsive CD/CTOC/CTF programs in coordination with other OSD offices, the Joint Staff, Combat and Commands (CCMDs), Military Departments, Defense Agencies, the U.S. Government Intelligence Community, other government departments, and U.S. and foreign law enforcement partners.* Provide decision-support assistance to ODASD (CN&SP) and government personnel by analyzing ongoing and proposed CCMD and Defense Agency CD/CTOC/CTF programs and activities and making recommendations, based on the government's guidance, for investment or other programmatic changes.Requirements:* Active TS/SCI security clearance.* A masters degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant field.* A minimum of ten (10) years of experience supporting senior general/flag officers and/or Senior Executive Service (SES) levels within the DoD, other government agencies, or equivalent corporate roles is required. Ability to perform at the level of a mid-range GS-15, with the ability to work independently, manage requirements proactively, and operate with minimal oversight for desired outcomes.* Demonstrated prior experience and subject matter expertise are required related to policy analysis, strategic guidance interpretation, and interagency coordination associated with this role.* Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to convey complex or technical information in clear, understandable language to DoD and U.S. Government personnel of all duties, tasks and services.* Must sign an annual Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) as a condition for accessing and handling Programming, Planning, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) data in support of operational duties.What We Offer:Advanced Decision Vectors offers a comprehensive, total rewards package that includes competitive compensation and a flexible benefits package that reflects our commitment to creating a diverse and supportive workplace.
