As an Security Officer you are at the tip of the spear when it comes to the advanced security solutions we provide our clients every day./ppSpecific benefits include:/pulliRecognition and Reward Programs./liliTraining and Career Development./liliOpportunities for Medical, dental, Holidays, vacation and sick, and 401 (k) retirement plan./liliUniform and equipment provided/liliAdditional benefits vary depending on position./li/ulpJob Description/ppSECURITY OFFICERS: Armed and Unarmed Security Officers with the following qualifications and requirements:/ppUNARMED SECURITY OFFICERS: Security officers that have a minimum of one year of security officer experience within the last three years, excluding training, and possess a valid security officer license./ppARMED SECURITY OFFICERS: Security officers with a minimum of three years of experience within the last five years of experience as an armed security officer, excluding training and possess a valid security officer license, specifically trained in personal protection by Texas DPS and possess the required state of Texas permits and directives to carry a weapon or concealed weapon./ppAll security personnel must:/ppHave the knowledge and skills to use a computer and be familiar with the operation of computers./ppAble to complete Electronic Shift Activity Reports on a computer. The submitted information must be correct and convey complete and accurate information./ppBe a high school graduate or hold a GED./ppReport for duty in a neat, clean, pressed, and in good physical condition uniform and required equipment. Not depart assigned duty area(s) until properly relieved. Under no circumstances must any assigned duty area be left abandoned./ppMaintain valid security licenses throughout the contract. Client reserves the right to request copies of proof of valid licenses throughout the contract./ppBe fluent in English with the ability to receive, give and understand written and oral instructions./ppNot use Client equipment for personal use. Use of Client property for personal use is grounds for removal of personnel from the contract./ppRemain awake and alert during the duration of their shift./ppBe polite and show respect for others to including Client employees, contractors, and visitors, and a high level of professionalism and a business-like demeanor always./ppUse proper business, telephone and two-way radio etiquette./ppMaintain a neat and clean appearance and dressed in appropriate uniform when on Client property./ppBe able to walk unassisted a minimum of 300 yards, climb 3 flights of stairs, and be able to lift and carry 50 pounds./ppAll personnel who will be driving to perform the services under this contract or drive to and from Client work locations must:/pp. Possess a valid Driver License acceptable in the state of Texas./pp. Have no Driving Under Influence (DUI) or Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) incidents on driving record within the past three years./pp. Have no more than two moving violations on driving record within the past three years./ppWork Environment and Schedule/pulliJob operates in client sites which could be indoors or outdoors./liliPosition requires prolonged standing and walking, in the performance of daily security activities./liliOpen availability Nights, Weekends, Holidays and overtime as directed(overtime occurs)./liliWork various shifts and Holidays as assigned./li/ulpVeterans/ppInter-Con is passionate about hiring veterans.
