    Business Process Improvement Consultant Location: Washington, D.C. Metro Area (local support required) Make an Impact Where It Matters Most Blue Rose Consulting Group, Inc. (Blue Rose) is seeking a Business Process Improvement Consultant to support a federal client in evaluating, modernizing, and optimizing mission-critical business operations within a secure government environment. In this role, you will work closely with stakeholders to assess current-state business processes, identify operational inefficiencies, and design streamlined future-state solutions that align with agency mission objectives. You will support process transformation initiatives by analyzing workflows, documenting operational functions, and recommending improvements across people, process, and technology domains. What You'll Do As a Business Process Improvement Consultant, you will: * Assess current-state business operations, workflows, and organizational processes across federal program areas * Develop future-state process models and strategic recommendations aligned with mission and operational objectives * Analyze business processes to identify inefficiencies, redundancies, and non-value-added activities * Facilitate process improvement initiatives focused on operational effectiveness and service delivery * Conduct research and analysis of existing workflows, procedures, and operational functions * Create detailed business process documentation, workflow diagrams, and operational recommendations * Collaborate with stakeholders and leadership teams to define improvement milestones and implementation strategies * Support organizational transformation efforts through process standardization and optimization * Build and maintain strong client relationships while supporting mission-focused operational goals * Present findings, recommendations, and improvement strategies to leadership and cross-functional teams Schedule & Shift Details * Full-time (40 hours/week) * Local support required within the Washington, D.C. metro area Requirements * U.S. Citizenship required * Active Secret Clearance required * Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business process analysis and improvement initiatives * Minimum of 3-5 years of experience with client relationship management in professional or consulting environments * Minimum of 3-5 years of experience creating business process documentation and workflow analysis artifacts * Experience evaluating operational processes across people, process, and technology functions * Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills * Ability to simplify complex operational workflows and recommend practical improvement solutions * Experience supporting federal or government environments preferred Why Join Blue Rose? * Support high-impact federal modernization and transformation initiatives * Work alongside collaborative teams focused on operational excellence * Contribute directly to mission-driven government programs * Opportunity to influence process improvements that drive measurable organizational outcomes * Join a company committed to innovation, integrity, and public sector success Apply Today Email: Website: www.bluerose-consulting.com/careers LinkedIn:
