    Job Description Job Description The Traffic Engineer will lead the analysis, design, and delivery of traffic engineering solutions that make a measurable impact within the community. The Traffic Engineer will apply sound engineering judgment, collaborate with diverse teams, and take ownership of projects from planning through implementation. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, conducting traffic impact studies, operational analyses, and safety evaluations; preparing and reviewing traffic signal, signing, and pavement marking plans; and ensuring compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations. The Traffic Engineer works closely with multidisciplinary teams, coordinates with public agencies and stakeholders, and provides technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff. This position may also involve managing project schedules, budgets, and deliverables, as well as providing professional engineering oversight and applying an engineering seal where required.
