    Security Supervisor

    Main responsibilities:

    • Supervises and monitors access system, intrusion/fire alarms, emergency phones and CCTV system
    • Manages all incoming telephone communications from complex
    • Responsible for communicating emergency information to DC Security Operations
    • Maintains an activity log documenting all information relevant to tasks performed
    • Reviews all shift paperwork for completeness and accuracy, also responsible for the proper filing of all shift paperwork
    • Maintains records, and creates access related to the complex card access system
    • Conducts maintenance audits of security equipment i.e., CCTV, alarm systems etc.
    • Assist with Security Investigations and provide detailed information to DC Management regarding card access and CCTV video.
    • Documents all Loss Prevention activities at the gates/lobbies as required by established Loss Prevention procedures
    • Completes incident reports to document Security Loss Prevention related issues. Forwards reports to Security management/Supervision for follow up.
    • Responsible for emergency notification to Police and Fire departments, and dispatching security personnel for emergency response.
    • Monitors Yard Management System (PINC) making needed adjustments
    • Monitors and adjusts all inbound and outbound complex traffic, using Google Documents
    • Performs other related duties as assigned
    • Answer telephone calls, tactfully handle inquiries and transfer to appropriate party

    We are looking for candidates who possess the following:

    • Customer Service experience required
    • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and Security CCTV System Knowledge required
    • Ability to work independently/ability to work through a situation in the absence of the Loss Prevention Supervisor
    • Sound judgment in decision making and problem solving.
    • Strong conflict resolution skills
    • Ability to work effectively with all levels of associates and management
    • Strong interpersonal skills
    • Ability to lead and influence others
    • High degree of initiative; proven team player, excellent customer service skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Must be able to manage confidential information
    • Must be able to multitask
