    divh2Security Manager/h2pPerform Carillon Miami Wellness Resort security duties and procedures to ensure the safety and security of guests, residents, employees, and the property as well as the property assets./pulliAssumes Duties of the Security Manager in his/her absence/liliEnsure all safety and security personnel perform their duties following Carillon policies and procedures, and as instructed by the Director of Safety Security, Assistant Director of Safety Security, and Security Manager./liliDevelops and administers the work schedule for the security staff./liliConducts and oversees training of all new security officers as well as ongoing training requirements for current security officers./liliOversees the Security Key Control program, Key watcher, and property access control system (SALTO PROACCESS SPACE)./liliEnsure accurate input and purging of Lost Found Items in MS SHIFT./liliArranges for and conducts monthly safety trainings as required for Carillon Miami Wellness Resort. Additionally, department-specific safety security monthly topics./liliReview security and safety reports for completeness and accuracy; distributes reports to other departments as required./liliPrepares and forwards reports as requested by the Director of Safety Security, the Assistant Director of Safety Security, and the Security Manager./liliAssist in completing payroll documentation./liliInvestigate security and safety incidents, including guest, resident, and employee interviews as necessary, document, and findings./liliCoach Counsel Security staff when necessary./liliEnsures cleanliness and excellent condition of equipment and work area./liliEnsure property patrols are conducted as required./liliAssist Carillon management when required./liliMaintains accurate records and conducts department materials inventories when necessary./liliReport and document any observed or known safety hazards, conditions, or unsafe practices and procedures to management immediately./li/ulh3Education, Experience, and Skill Requirements/h3ulliHigh School Diploma or equivalent, plus 2 years of security and safety experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience, in a Hotel / Resort environment./liliAbility to develop and maintain good working relationships with all levels of Carillon Miami staff, vendors, guests, residents, and government agencies./liliExcellent customer service and positive interpersonal skills./liliGood verbal and written communication skills./liliProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook./liliStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities./liliGood judgment and the ability to maintain confidentiality are critical./liliAbility to effectively handle multiple tasks simultaneously with frequent interruptions./liliAbility to grasp, list, and /or carry or otherwise move goods weighing a maximum of 200 lbs and sufficient manual dexterity in hands./liliStrong organizational skills and attention to detail./liliAbility to handle stressful situations and be able to prevent and/or handle emergency situations./liliBe able to work a flexible schedule if required, including weekends and holidays./li/ulh3Certifications / Licenses- Required or Able to Obtain/h3ulliCPR / First Aid AED certification/liliClass D Security License/li/ul/div
